Home is where you heart is.

Have you ever thought about how lucky you are to have a home? Well, I certainly have and I realized how fortunate we truly are for that. A home is not just a building made of walls and windows; it is so much more than that. It is a place where your heart feels safe. What may look like an ordinary house from the outside is someone’s special place filled with love and memories. When I walk inside my beautiful home I see my living room. Family and friends gather there to play games like bingo and some Monopoly. We also watch shows on the TV. As we move into the dining room, there’s always yummy food to eat. The food we make together can never be beaten. Theres usually a nice waft of laughter float through the air filling every corner of the home. The walls are decorated with the fun pictures that you take, and they really capture this saying; "the most important things in life are the people you meet places you’ve been and the memories you make along the way." When I’m sad, I am surrounded by people who genuinely love me. When I’m mad, they give me space and understand my feelings. but eventually I am fine. And when I am happy, I get to share my joy with the people I love most. So, after searching for the right place, my family finally found our forever home—a perfect place that my heart loves and where I can truly be myself. That is why I feel so grateful and I think I am so lucky to have a lovely home. By: Lily
