My Home Is…

A place where I feel welcomed and safe, as well as a place where I can go when I need help, or when things get hard. A place where we accept different cultures, as well as follow ours, and learn about others. It is somewhere where I have people I can rely on, and where people rely on me to do my part and make our home better everyday. My home is also where I can meet new people! Like my friend’s parents and siblings. Where my parent’s friends come, and I can meet them too! My home means a lot to me, probably as much as it means to you! Home is a place where I should feel grateful for everything I have, and the new things people give to me. A respectful place, where we lift each other up with kind words and encouragement, not bring them down with rude comments and judgemental feelings. What is your home to you? Is it a place of happiness and kindness? Or a place of laughter and fun? My home feels like a big blanket wrapping around me, and making sure I feel good and safe there. Lots of people don’t have much, so we need to be grateful for everything. Like your… for example, sofa. How much do you think that cost? Some people only have blankets. Help them if you can, or ask your parents. What does your home mean to you? Homes are a place to seek help and comfort, for me. They are also a place where I can help people get through their hardships. Home has a feel that nothing else can, and it feels like all the problems in the world disappear. What is the feeling that you get from your home?
