What home means to me

Home means a lot to me and there are many reasons why everyone should have a home. One reason is that I get to see my family. We laugh, we cry and we make the best moments of our lives. We make lifelong friendships in this house of ours. When my family members bake the smells of cookies and other baked goods fills the air. Our family fights like every other family, but we always work it out. If we move houses, I get to see the new home I get to live in. In the new house I run up and down the stairs and down the hall. We would settle down and get everything organized. Even though years are hard when I get home I feel happy to know that I'm safe in my warm house. I could never imagine not having a place to live, no place to call home. Lots of people when they are done school or any other activities they don’t know where to go to get some rest. People all over the world don't have a place to call home, but I think that it is very important to have a place they can call home. The word home has lots of meaning for some people. It means love, a place to stay warm and many more things. Home is more than four walls and a roof, it's a place with love and hope.
