Home is Where

Home is where you can cry but someone will comfort you. It is where you can yell and they will understand too. Home is where you learn to hate, but where you forgive. Where you wallow in the dark late, but where dawn lives. Home is where you wear a veil of darkness and die, feeling strung at gallows. Home is where you’re hurt, and you fail when you try. Where you’re burnt, and you yell too early a goodbye. Home is where you can hurt but someone will heal you. It is where you can mourn, but you will love anew. Home is where you fear, but you’re not alone. Where you scream, but it’s where you’re known. Home is where you wear a crown of light, feeling floating in the shallows. Home is where you can help, where you can forgive the fight, Where you can understand, and you can truly live and feel right.
