Meaning of Home

What does “"home”" mean to me? A home means many things to me. I believe it is a happy place to be where I am loved and cared for. Home is where I live with my family and pets. My friends enjoy coming to my home, too. We make memories everyday and remember the old times we had. I feel comfortable in my house and my parents keep me safe. When I am home, I can be silly and have fun with my family. My house is blue and it is a good size for us. We watch TV in our living room and eat in our dining room. My Mom and Dad decorated me and my brothers rooms with things we like and some of our favourite things. Our house gives us shelter and keeps us warm, even on cold winter days. We eat our favourite meals together in our home and it always smells good, too. It makes me feel good to be in my home with all my family. When I feel sick, I want to be at home in my own bed. I am thankful we have a home, because some people do not have a home in which they can go to. When I feel sad, I want to be“home” with my parents. When I am happy, I run “home” to tell my family. I love playing kitchen hockey with my brother and we have the perfect place to play. A house is just made of walls and a roof. A home is a safe place for me and my family to live, laugh, and play.
