What Home Means to Me

Home is a place to be happy. Knowing that I have a home is what gets me out of bed in the morning. < WOWSERS I LOVE THAT LINE!!!! The people with no homes should feel the same way I do, because everyone deserves a warm, welcoming, and diverse home like I have. Home is a place to make mistakes and learn from the mistakes you have made. Home is a place where I can eat, stay warm, and play. Perfect! Home is a place where you can feel loved by your family and friends. Home is a place where you can laugh, have fun and play games. My home is a sacred place to be. In my home, I feel accepted and understood. My favourite place in my home is in the living room because it is where we can sit together, talk together, and feel safe. My home is in Cape Breton, NS. My home is surrounded by different towns and communities. When I come home my family members are there to welcome me and make me feel comfortable. In my home, my Mom cooks the best meals I have ever had, and some days she orders pizza. I really like that. I know not everyone has a home, but I really hope everyone who doesn’t eventually gets a chance to experience what it’s like to have a home.
