I open the door, the sight is bright and happy The people inside make the house lively You think of a home as a structure with four walls That's really a house not a home at all Houses have foundations made of stone and brick A home is something a little more than this Things do not build a home It's the people inside who make you feel less alone Home is where the heart is Where you feel safe and free It's a shame that a home is not guaranteed I hope you get a home where you loved for who you are Whether you fall asleep under a roof or under the stars
