What A Home Means to Me

What a Home Means To Me When I twist the key to open the door, it sounds so simple and easy but there is something more. Inside that door, there is love and care. A place where everything is fair. Home is a place where you learned how to walk and run. Home is somewhere you feel like number one. Home is a place where you have no worries. Somewhere you can eat all your berries. Home is a place to go when you are feeling low. Somewhere your parents can watch you become strong and grow. Somewhere to stay on sad nights. A place where you can always forgive after big fights. Home is unique A place to go when you want someone to listen while you speak. A place where you can have fun and play hide-and-seek. A place you can spend time with your family. A place where everyone asks kindly. Home is a place where your heart and mind can be at rest A place where you can find people that you call “the best”. For me, everyone needs a home. That is why I wrote this poem.
