A Family Full of Fur

My meaning of home is a happy, healthy, warm and loving place where our family members come together and do something very special. My home has many dogs. We rescue dogs that have had bad things happen to them or have been abandoned. We help them by taking them to the vet to feel better and we give each dog lots of love and caring to make them feel comfortable in our home. We make each dog part of our family. It doesn't matter how big or small we will help any kind at all. My family feeds the dogs and makes sure the dogs get exercise. We train them to teach them good manners.When friends and family come over to visit, everyone has a dog on their laps. Its really nice to see how much the dogs trust us and love us no matter what they've been through. When the dogs have healed, been trained and are happy and healthy, we send them to their new home with the perfect family to adopt them. Every time a dog leaves our home it takes a little piece of my heart with them. The wonderful thing that happens when a dog leaves is that it opens up a space for another dog that needs a safe home with a lots of love and attention. My family visits each dog and their new family and it's nice to see how happy they are. It fills my heart with love and joy and makes my heart feel full. My meaning of home is the love that we share together in helping those who cannot help themselves.
