Home

Home Home. To some people home is a just block of bricks. But to me home is where I feel safe and loved. My home is my comfort zone. Home makes me feel special. It makes me feel happy and I'm grateful for that because I know that it's not always like that for others. For some people home doesn't make them feel safe or loved. It’s not their comfort zone and it doesn't make them feel happy. If you ask me, friends and family are the same thing. It all depends on you. Some people's families aren't there for them when they need them the most. But their friends are. Their friends are their home. And sometimes their families are their friends. One of my best friends is my mom. I love her and wouldn't trade her for the world. My best friend is considered part of my family. But that doesn't mean my family isn't there for me. She is just an addition to it. Difference. The difference between house and home is drastic. A house is a building. A house can be made out of any material you desire. It’s just an object, well it's an important object. It keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It keeps you safe from outside. It's a place to sleep, it's a place to make memories. But it’s not a home. To have a home is to feel loved. And safe in a different way. A home is a place to laugh with your family and friends. It's a place to have fun and let loose. Most people think that home and house are the same thing. Maybe they're right, maybe they are wrong. We’ll never know. All I know is I love home.
