All About My Home

Home to me is warm and cozy where almost no one around me is being nosey. Home is where I feel safe and is my favourite place. At home is where I know I belong and if I don’t belong there. Where do I? My home is not just bricks and wood, my home is my childhood. Home is where you make the BEST memories. Like when I fell down the stairs when that happened I cried but now that I think about it it's funny. At home I love to dance and prance around and sometimes my little brother will join me. My home is pretty loud with my little brother bouncing off the walls and running around. And sometimes I get to watch him fall asleep on the ground. I have a little sister too as many people do. There are so many things that I think are funny, that she cries too. Once I was watching an action movie because I thought why not. Then in the middle of the movie, she comes downstairs and watches the rest with me. Then she cried because someone in the movie died because of “action”. I laughed because at the time in my head I said it's not like it's gonna pop out of the tv. I can’t even imagine what it feels like to not have a home or to be alone. Over one billion people are alone in the world with no support and sleeping on the dirty floor. Many nights are cold, sometimes freezing and they have no winter coat to save them from freezing. Everyone deserves a home all you have to do to help is write a poem. Just a few words on a page and they can have a home in days. So entering this contest saves a family or a life from sleeping on the floor out in the freezing cold.
