Home- A Safe Place

Home is where you are surrounded by people who love you, people who are always there to pick you up when you fall down, people who will support you no matter what. Everyone fights with those people, whether it’s your mother, your father, or your brother(s) or sister(s). In those moments when you are mad at said people, you don’t really think about the fact that they don’t hate you over this small argument, they still will support you and still want to be around you. Maybe you both need some space from each other, but home is (and always will be) a safe place for both the people in it and the secrets that may be talked about there. Home is a place where you are fortunate enough to have access (not for all people though) to clean water and clothes your parents may have bought for you (or from your aunt or uncle or cousin ect). So many people take what they have for granted, even I’m guilty of this. It takes a lot to notice your surroundings and how much work and effort was put into buying the house you live in. Or you’re rich and bought the house almost effortlessly with no trouble whatsoever but the chances of that being the case is slim. Anyone can live in a house, but it takes love to make it a home.
