What Home Means to Me

Home to me means that I have a safe place with a roof over my head. I am grateful to have lots of food. I love to play with my brother and sister because we play fun games. My mom and I cook at home, my house is cozy and warm. I love to spend time with my family and my dogs. I like my home because I feel happy and warm at home. If I didn’t have a home I would be homeless. Home to me, is my soft and cozy bed where my sister tells me stories about Gramps up in heaven. In my mind a home is a place full of joy and laughter, but also a place you can be yourself. Home is that I have lots of love from my mom, dad, brothers, sister and my 2 dogs. Home to me is a place where I can play with all my toys and draw, color and make my comic books and trading cards. Home to me is like a little kingdom on a hill in the woods. It’s also our big comfy couch where we gather to watch movies, eat popcorn and laugh. Home is where we have fun celebrations, like birthdays, and Christmas and more. Home to me is my big yard where I play outside jump on the trampoline, swim in our pool and where I make forts in the woods. I also drive my bike up and down our long driveway in the spring, summer and fall, and slide down our long driveway in the winter. I am very grateful to have a big warm home, my family and all of our memories we have made inside the walls of our HOME!
