Home Sweet Home

I have a home to live in to be safe. I have so many wonderful things inside my home for my entertainment. I’m lucky to have a beautiful family. I love my family. They also love me so much because I’m the youngest in the family. I feel so lucky to have walls around and a roof over my head to protect me from the cold weather, hot weather and rainy days. In general, I feel safe and protected when I’m at home. I’m thankful that I always have food on the table. I feel sad for those who have no home, they have no choice but to live on the streets and it’s just not fair. Even so many good-hearted people help them to find shelter and give them food and water. But still that’s not enough because more people should come to help because everybody should stay in their own home so they can feel protected. For me, my home is everything for me. I have so many books to read, a keyboard to play, and so many toys to play with. I love my home because it has so many rooms, but my favourite room is my room because it has everything I need to entertain myself. I also like my dining room because that’s where we eat together as a family and I love when we sit together and chat. But the best part of all is that we laugh a lot together when we sit around the table. I love the kitchen because I can cook with my mom, bake cupcakes, and learn new recipes. I love the family room because once in a week my whole family watches a movie together and the best part of it is that I always choose the movie we are going to watch. It is always so much fun because my brothers make me laugh a lot. Movie night with your whole family in your own home is the best thing in the world. Because when you sit at the comfort of your home, nothing else matters. Home is something that doesn’t matter if it’s small or big, 1 bedroom or 5 bedrooms, it always gives you peace of mind. Home is where your heart is. And also families make a house a home. So if you have a family who cares about you, who loves you, and you have a home to stay in, that means you are the luckiest person in the world. Because so many people don’t have basic things that they need to survive. Basic things are food, shelter, and clothes. If you have those things you should be thankful for that. I thank God for my beautiful home, for my loving family. And also I love my home because I can do whatever I want to do. For me, my home is the place where I’m free to do my stuff. My backyard that’s at the back of my house. I can swim in my swimming pool and I can jump on the trampoline. In the summertime, we also grow vegetables in our backyard and I help my dad with gardening. I also compost leftover vegetables and fruits because we also have a composter. My home is a fun place for me, where I can do fun activities. Even when I was on my holidays, I missed my home a lot. When we came back from my holidays, I felt so relaxed because home meant safety and comfort. For me, home is wherever my family is. A place where we can truly just be ourselves.
