What home means to me

Home is not a word people use like it is nothing. Home is an extraordinary thing that you should trust and love. You make lots of memories at home. You learn things that are true and false and things that are bad or good. You laugh and cry at home. Sadly, it’s true that some people do not have a home of their own. Home protects me from winter winds and stormy nights. Home keeps me safe and holds me tight. Home protects me from the outside world and the dangers within it. Home is not just a shelter over your head, home protects you. You make lots of memories, you go through things that are good or bad times, you learn things you never knew before but most importantly we should all be grateful we have a home.
