A Safe Place

A house is a physical place that provides you shelter. I could be many things like an apartment, a house, or even a R.V. A home, on the other hand, is so much more. Home is a safe place for us to live in. It’s warm and cozy where we can be ourselves. A home is a place to gather as a family. It’s the feeling of belonging and not being judged by others. It’s the feelings inside of a house that make it a home. A house only becomes a home when we find love and comfort in it. Though I like going away and visiting new places, I realize how much I love my home. I look forward to coming back and being its comfort.
