What Home Means To Me

What Home Means To Me What home means to me is the things I feel when I am there. I feel safe and I don't feel embarrassed. For example, we do karaoke at my house and I am not afraid to sing because I know my family won’t say I am a bad singer. I feel safe in my house, but not just because of the walls and a roof around me, but the comfort and love from my family. I feel loved by my family because they make me feel better when I am hurt or scared, and just looking at them makes me feel happy. For example, when I had my birthday during the Covid break, they set up a zoom party for me and they got me better presents because I could not have a real party. I feel supported by my family because when I am around them. I am not afraid to do the things that I want. Like for example, I would not be in soccer if I did not feel supported because I would be too scared, and when my dad first saw me play soccer he said I was a natural at it. To me home means that I am safe, loved, and supported by my family.
