Meaning Of Home

Home to me is somewhere you can feel safe and protected. Home is somewhere you are not only liked but loved. A home is where memories are made. It is the place you will always be accepted. At home the people there care. In a home there is joy and happiness. A home is special. A house has stuff. not happy stuff, not sad stuff, just stuff. In a house instead of love, you’ll find a living room, maybe there's a couch, maybe a tv. In a house you can’t find kindness but you can find a kitchen. There is nothing special about it, it’s just a kitchen. You might find an attic in a house, but it won’t have boxes of memories like a home would have. The difference between a house and a home is that houses have rooms and things but for a house to be a home you need people there who love and care about each other and once you have a home, over time the rooms and things from a house start having meanings, imperfections and memories. A home doesn't need to be perfect it doesn’t even need to be a building. All a home needs is people who will protect each other no matter what, a home needs happiness, people who care for one another, a home needs people who are thankful, a home needs family.
