What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me I have lived in both England and Canada, and even though they are completely different places they both feel like home. Maybe because in both places I have a roof over my head, or because I have friends to talk to and play with, or even maybe just because I have family there with me. The birds tweeting in the morning here in Canada were so different from the foxes in our backyard scrummaging through the trash in England. When I lived in London I would miss so many things about Canada like the pointy roofs on the houses, my neighbors that I had known since birth, and I longed for the smell of the ocean, but once I came back to Canada I would miss so many things about England like my granny and grandads farm that had the hugest hay bails you’ve ever seen, or the swing hanging from the oak tree I would sit and play on for hours on end, and especially my relatives that I've been waiting to see. Once I stop and think about the homelessness that has been happening I remember how lucky I am to have a home, and that is what a home means to me.
