What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home means different things to everyone. But to me, home means a place where you know that there are loved ones around you, and you can trust them. When you are at home, everyone there will listen to you, but also speak up for themselves. Some people say that home is just a place where you sleep, drink and eat, but it’s not. It’s a place where you know you can be safe and healthy. Whether it’s pouring or just drizzling, you will be dry and warm. If a lightning storm is going on outside, just go to your home to get under a roof. It's really just that simple for some people. But others have to live outside where it’s cold and wet. Some people don’t have the stuff that we do, so be grateful for what you do have. What I’m trying to say is, a home is a privilege that not everybody has. This is what home means to me.
