What a home is to me

Me and my mom were sitting on the street. We were homeless and couldn't afford a home or food. The reason we were homeless is we were behind on bills and got evicted. We lived on the streets for a month. When we had enough money to buy a house, we moved into an apartment. It didn't feel like home because there were no memories there. My mom got a job where we were able to get furniture, like beds and couches. We got food. Then everything felt like home! Three months later, me and mom got a kitten. Then we got a bigger house; that is where I used to live. Now we have moved into a bigger house with two storeys. My mom and I have been living in this house now for a year. It really feels like home. We love our home! It is amazing.
