Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home What does a home mean to me? A home means a place to love, laugh and get help. We have fun in my family. We play board games, we laugh together, and we play video games. We also can ask for help with homework or if we lost something - which happens a lot. We do a lot of hugs, high fives, and “How is your day?”s. I think home provides food, water, shelter, safety and security. My mom always makes sure the fridge is full and has my favorite snacks. In my room I feel safe and it’s where I have my own space. I am so thankful for the security of home when so mean people in the world are homeless. I used to live with my Grandma at her place. I also feel like home at her new house because I am happy when I go there. I go there for sleepovers and she helps me with my homework. A home is a place where many families gather for celebrations and they build a lifetime of memories. Just think of all the Christmases, Easters, and birthdays enjoyed at home with family. For all of these reasons, home is the best place to be!
