What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me We have had many houses. Of course, some I had been too young to remember. Let's talk about my home I was last in. I was luckily at home when we were moving. We had lived in a shelter. One day we heard we were getting new neighbours across from us. That is how I met my best friends Purity, Venna, and Edwin. Every morning they would bring over candy. They were very nice. Then we got new neighbours Angel [we called her] and Madonna. They would help a lot and in times when we struggled they were there for us. At the time we moved I was there and obviously I had to help. I had a fun watch I used with the kids. There was a black beetle in our backyard. I took a picture of it on my watch. When my siblings got back from school they were very happy because the house looked very nice. Little did we know all the memories we would have. We had always wanted a pool in our backyard, so a couple of years later we got one. Since our backyard was small we would have to be smart. We got a pool and put it in our backyard. Cleaning that was a pain in the butt. We loved that pool. However, we also have wild cats in the neighborhood. They were trying to get water and couldn't, so they used our pool. It broke and we could not use it anymore. All I'm trying to say is a house is full of memories. Habitat for Humanity is an amazing option for everyone to have that.
