What Home Means to Me

Home is built with love in parts Coming together forming a Heart Together forever we will always be Starting at the roots and building our tree. Coming inside you will first hear A dog barking and bird tweets filling the air Though it can sometimes get noisy I love it all, its always so cozy. It makes me so sad to think about it Some people haven't even heard about it There are people on this planet who don't have a place to stay They can't even say they have a home for a day. Home is not just a place It's the feeling that you get when you are safe It's the love and the faith and the community That will never depart for all eternity Home is the memories that will grow It's you knowing that you will never be alone The endless laughter, the joy that is made And the peacefulness that comes in many ways. You may have a home made of bricks and wood While others cardboard and soot. Either way, it can be called home As long as you greet others with shalom. This is what home means to me I truly pray that you agree. So donate some money at least a buck or two And give to others like your home gives to you.
