The meaning of home

Home, is a wall and a roof, and inside that roof, are your loved ones, waiting to spend their time with you. The magical thing about home is that you feel good when you leave, but it feels even better when you come back. And home is where your heart really is. Home is a place to go when you need a shoulder to cry on, and a person you can share feelings with. I think that our homes are the reason we aren’t suffering alone, and we are safe in that home. When I come back from a place, and return home, I like to collapse on my bed, and think of what good things and bad things I did. I like it when my brother barges into my room. The nice smell of food floating across the room, and at the end of the day,the start of the night, when I drift off to bed, wondering, the longest road out, is the shortest road home, to my family . Most people don’t have homes, and every day, when I come from school or another place, I step in my house, where I feel safe, where I can be myself, where I won’t be judged, where I can have a shoulder to cry on, and, a place, where I can be with my family, and a place where I wake up and see my family, and throughout the day, I can see my family. To many other people, home means hospitality, and a place to feel safe, but for me, my home is my comfort zone, my place for memories (some may be happy, or sad), but it’s where I think my heart belongs. So, let’s make memories, care for each other, and let's go home.
