What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me When my family and I escaped Syria, we didn't have a home. It took awhile to come to Canada and have a better home. My home has 4 walls that protect me and my family. I like my home because it is surrounded with love and caring. At home, I feel really safe. I am happy in my home because I get to see the ones I love. I am fine with any home, if it's big or small. I just want a safe home to live in. My home is a big part of my life. It means a lot to me because I have pictures and memories, and my home protects those things. I love when my family and I play and laugh together. It makes me feel loved, and it makes the house joyful. Home is where love, safety, and joy live. I am very grateful to have a home to live in! I hope everyone has the opportunity to have a safe and loved home!
