Home Is

Home is where you’re safe with loving family and you have friends, your home can stand up high if you try. Your home is a friend that keeps you safe in its arms, It shelters you from the storm. Our home being the safe place for you and me and our great big family. Bowls of Cheerios for breakfast to get us through the day, Fun and laughter at breakfast time. Home is my house, my walls, my roof my fun and my family, My home is where my grandma and grandpa come to eat chicken wings, Hot dogs and hamburgers on the barbecue, The food on the barbecue the smell of wood and fire, Floating around giving me a daydream of food, Then I remember once again not all have food, family, or a bed. Some people do not have a house, Or a parent to take care of them and keep them safe, At night, I go to sleep without a peep, then I am in a deep sleep. I wake up soon after, I go down and I see my tv. It is on the Jets game, the Jets score, then I am happy in my home. Everyone should have a home to keep them safe from the storm and the outside world.
