My dearest home

My Dearest Home Home is my safe place, Where I lay and dream. In my bed I feel at home, Held tight in the blankets. Home is as bright as the sun, And as soft as the sand, The trees outside sing a song, To keep me calm. The dog and cat get along, Because they are at home. Home is the sweetest place, Where I can be myself, Where everyone feels welcome, Home is where I’m loved the most. When I’m home, I am safe. Home is the light in the dark, Shining its sunny scent. Home is the happy place, Where all are friendly, Home is filled with memories, That hold me close. Those memories protect me, When I need them the most, They are set free, For more people to see. And the memories bring peace, To make people happy. Home shines as bright as stars, On a clear night. I walk with the stars, Talking amongst ourselves. Home is a place filled with words. I can’t see them, but I know they’re there. Home is my family, We sing, laugh, dance. Home is a calm place, Like waves crashing against the sand. Home is where I lay and relax, By the fireplace with my family.
