HOME

For me having a home is being free. A place where I can be who I am with no criticism. A place where I can feel safe, even in an unsafe time. A place where I can find happiness when I am feeling down. A place where I can get support and love. A place where after a long and hard stressful day my family and I can come home to, and rest. A place where I can grow, learn and make a collection of memories. Memories of fun family games. Memories of family and friends. Memories of movie nights. Memories of amazing vacations. But some people don't have that and it's heartbreaking. Some people don't have a place where they can feel safe, a place where they can find happiness and make memories, or a place where they can get love and support. For some people the word “home” has little meaning because they have never experienced the feeling of safe walls around them and that needs to change. By writing this i can help change that because if I or someone else wins this contest, someone will get a home and the word “home” will mean a whole lot more to them then it did before. Home means so much to me and I want it to mean alot to them.
