The House That Became a Home

Once upon a time, a house was built. It was lonely, because nobody loved it yet. It was also very empty. It was up for sale for years and years. No one came to look at it and no one wanted it. Then, one day, a family of three entered the house. Their joy was overflowing. The house could hear the girl squeaking eagerly. The house was feeling loved. The next day they came back to stay. The house was not empty anymore! The family was very, very happy. The house, which was now becoming a home, watched the family for years. One year, the family got a dog. He filled the walls with his happy woofs and soon the home was very content and didn’t want a single thing to change. The years carried on the very same way as the home watched and kept the warm, relaxed memories. The young girl got older and the family got a kitten. She was a frisky, silly one that liked to play in every single room of the home. The family went through a lot, but the home always watched them lovingly. Eventually, the girl and her parents left. The house was put up for sale again. But, this time, the home was perfectly okay. It kept the memories until the very last day of its life, never forgetting the sweet family who helped it in its hardest times.
