What Home Means to Me

Home is a safe place to stay where my family is beside me. My home is my favourite place where I have my family and my own special things like my room, my toys, and my kitten Olive. I’m very happy and grateful to be in a safe place when I think of home. I think of not being alone. Home is where I can eat the delicious foods my mom makes everyday for us. I play with my kitten Olive happily and when I need to relax I hear my mom’s pretty, clean voice. My home is full of happiness and love. It is where I learn to get up when I fall to the ground. My home is not alive until we’re inside of my house. I love being at home because it keeps me safe, happy and warm like a fireplace. When I go to sleep, I think of people who are homeless and I wish they could have a warm and comfortable place to live with a loving family. I think for those people who have a home, they should be grateful and happy because they have a home where they can sleep, eat, and be warm.
