What a Home is to Me

Having a home to me is feeling safe around my family, surrounded by my walls and safe under my roof. A home never goes away, no matter what! A home is a place you can go to after a hard day or if someone was mean to you, because at home you always belong! A home is feeling like you will have people beside you all the time! A home is not sleeping on the floor or the streets, just your bed. A home is filled with light and not darkness. A home is somewhere to cook food and where everybody eats together. You can be yourself in your home. When you go home you’ll be happy, I promise! I’m so grateful that I have a home. That is what a home is to me.
