A house is more than a place

Home is not just a building. Home is a place where you have family. It is a place where you can have joy, happiness, love, laughter and a lot more. A house is full of furniture, which is not important. The important part is that you have family. Your family are those who you can depend on. My home means everything to me. I am protected from storms, the wind and everything that might harm me but inside it is warm. I hope everyone can have a home where the poor can have shelter and that is where they will have comfort. I have lots of comfort in my home. Home is somewhere where you can share your secrets with friends and family. It is a place to play with your siblings. It always has a special smell and my home smells like fire and wood because our fireplace is on. I feel safe when I smell that because I know I am home. Home is where the heart is. Here I am able to practice my faith, which is one of the most important things I have. God gave me blessings and one of them is my family, which I love most of all. I hope that everyone is given this chance to call a house a home.
