Home to me

There is no right meaning of home. Because no homes are the same. Yes, a home should be somewhere you feel loved, supported, and safe. But that is not the way for everyone. To me home is a place where you can be yourself without a hint of fear. Somewhere you can have different passions and interests but still fit in. Somewhere you feel safe, cozy and not afraid to be judged. Somewhere you are excited to see what adventures come in the next chapter of your life. Some people may have a house but not a home. Some people take longer than others to find their true home. But they will know when they are home, they will feel happy and safe. I’m writing this piece so that Habitat for Humanity can help change someone's house into a home. As long as I live, I'll always know whenever I'm with my family I'm home.
