What Home Means to Me

For me the meaning of home is family. Home is not just a house because it's a place where family can come together and enjoy each other's company. It is also a place where you're always welcome and always loved, it's a safe place where you're always accepted. Home is somewhere you can have fun and never feel alone. Home and family are really important right now because COVID-19 makes so many people feel alone, but family makes COVID-19 not quite as hard. Family makes it less lonely. Home means family because it doesn’t matter if you move to a different house, if you have your family. no matter where you live, you will always be home. Family loves and supports you through good times and the rough times. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “A house is made with walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams.” That is why home means family to me.
