Home, Where Memories Come Alive

I love my home in every way, It’s the place where my family and I chose to stay. It’s a place where I can do my online school, And later help my dad with his tools. I feel grateful every day, for having a comfortable place to stay. It’s not just a house with decorations within, But a place for new memories to come in. To many, a house is just a place to stay, But the love and warmth make it my home every day. My family is there to comfort me, while my pet hamster brings me lots of joy and glee. A warm home is a blessing indeed, Somewhere safe for my family to succeed. Home to me is my family, We play, laugh, and feast happily. On snowy days and cold nights, Sipping cocoa brings us delight. As I lay down my head to sleep, I think about every person in need, Those who don’t have any food to eat, And those who don’t have anywhere to retreat. Many people are less fortunate than me, Who’d benefit from a safe property. So that’s why I want to help in every way, To give everyone a comfortable place to stay. I am happy to have this opportunity, To help somebody who is needy. I hope this poem will pave the way, To help change someone’s life today.
