What Home Means to Me

Home for me is not the walls or roof around me, Home is a place where I can feel safe and loved, Home is a place I carry with me in my heart, Home is a place where I make memories, Home is a place where I can feel safe to play outside in my backyard and play with my dogs and my sister, Home is where I can play family game night and have family movie night, If I was in trouble, I get forgiven, If it was my birthday a got to pick dinner and I got presents, Home is where I can celebrate holidays like Christmas, Halloween and ester, Home is a place I feel comfortable and like I’m apart of my home and I’m supposed to be there, If I was sad, I was cheered up and hugged, I hope everyone has a home.
