What is Home?

Is it a place where I learn like school? Is it a place where I feel like a fool? No it is not it, could be a thought A feeling or emotion It could be the ocean. Is it a place that you can play sports? A gym, a pitch, maybe even a court? Why no it is not, not even a place It could be an animal, a house or face. For me, home is my dog Her slobber, her roar The way she helps me She warms my core She helps me move on Helps me be more Home is my dog No less and no more. Home is the best because I can be me You should come, you will see Yes this place, this place were I live So please don't be negative. The memories I made and kept here The times when I had to shed a tear I've stayed here for many years The place where I can see the world clear. This is my home, be sure not to leave My idea or conceive Yes my home, it is the best A place where I can stick out my chest.
