My Home

I know I am home when I hear my mountain Bernese barking as loud as can be. I know I am home when I can hear my cat purring as soft as my bed sheets. I know I am home when I can hear the birds chirping when I am walking up my driveway. Home is not just a place; it is where I feel safe and cozy. When I pray to God every night, I feel like someone is always with me. Every night my family and I have dinner and share moments of the great or not so great days. We share stories and fun activities. Home is where I can decorate my room and show my personality and feel safe. When I am home, I like to play board games and read books. Every day when I get home from school, I like to help the others that live with me.
