My Home

Home is the safest and most secure place for me. It is where I feel happy, comfortable, and loved. When I was born, my very first home was in my mother’s arms. That was where I felt warmth, care, and protection. I grew up in India, where I created many beautiful memories. I decorated my bedroom with my favorite stickers, which made it feel special and truly my own. That room became another place where I felt safe and happy. Later, my family moved to Canada and bought a house in Delta, BC. In Delta, I feel safe and enjoy spending time with my friends at school and playing in nearby parks. I also love going swimming, playing badminton and table tennis, and ice skating at the local recreation centre. Living in Delta makes me feel at home because of my wonderful friends and the community around me. Now that I am older, I understand that the Earth is everyone’s home. It provides us with air, water, and food so we can live healthy and happy lives. It is our responsibility to protect our Earth and make it a safe and secure place for everyone.
