My Home Isn't Gone Yet

I am thankful that it's still here, My home is still near. Some people can’t rest like I can, They might not have parents cry to or hold their hand. I am thankful I still have it, I have clothes that fit, I can still celebrate Saint Nick. Some people don't have school, notebooks, or clean water, They don’t have shoes to go farther. My home isn't gone, no, not yet. All of those people, just standing there, We let them freeze, without a care. People without a roof over their head, Who go to sleep without a bed. It is important we don't judge, Spreading kindness could be our bridge, Because that could be you someday, So remember, those people look up to you always.
