My Home

These are some reasons why my home is so special. First of all, home can be anywhere. Your house is just a building; your home is a more important place because it can be beside a rushing river or inside a bustling city. For me, my home is wherever my family is, and my family is the most important part of my home. I have a sister named Clara. She is in high school and she is 13. My dad is a bookkeeper and he is 50. My mom loves gardening and she is 46 years old. My dad is a very good cook, and he cooks lots of interesting food. He cooks this really great shrimp scampi. What is Shrimp Scampi you might ask? It is a delectable pasta noodle dish with two lemons, lemon zest, lots of diced garlic and shrimp. This makes our home smell marvelous! Our family loves to go camping. Have you ever hiked up a mountain or paddled a canoe? You should try it because it is really fun and cool. If you have a kayak, then you also know what I mean. My home is fun, but it can feel busy sometimes. But I know that it's where I belong.
