What you Take for Granted Isn't Always Granted
Imagine this, a lone wolf, no pack, no place to call home. She has food, water and shelter but no home. She sometimes sees packs out hunting, training or just having fun. They don’t worry about not having a home, they all have homes. She gets jealous of those packs but she knows she shouldn’t. She never says anything to them. She hides in the shadows secretly hoping they notice her; they never do. She goes unnoticed and unhelped. She longs for a home every day.
Now imagine this, a young wolf who has a pack and a home. He plays with his pack mates all day and never feels sad or lonely. He loves his home, he never thinks about wolves with no home. He has friends, family and siblings who love him and who he loves. He has everything he could ever want. He takes this for granted; he thinks every wolf has this. He doesn't know how lucky he is.
Habitat for Humanity is helping people be more like wolf 2. Habitat for Humanity is changing lives and raising awareness about homelessness at the same time. This is why Habitat for Humanity is amazing, they’re changing the world.
