What Home Means to Me

Home is not a bunch of walls and a roof, it's a safe sanctuary. It's the place where you can express the most emotion. Home provides a shield from bad things in life. It's like part of your family. The living room is where I laugh and have fun with my family, it`s where we play board games and brush off the boredom that builds up during the day. The bedroom is where I hear the sound of pencil on paper when I draw. Where I sleep under my warm and fluffy blankets and where I rest for tomorrow and the fun things I'm going to do. Downstairs is the place where I play video games, where I destroy my sisters at Mario Kart and where my friends and I play and shoot Nerf Blasters. Where me, my dad and my sisters play tickle fights. The kitchen is always filled with the delicious smells of homemade meals. The chef who cooks most of it is my Mom. The place where the meals for the dining room is made. The best part about a home is the dining room, it's filled with all the meals we ate, all the stories we've told and where I talk about my and my family's life. So a lot of other places compared to home are just a lump of planks and stone. So each person on earth deserves a HOME!!! AND NOTHING COMPARES TO A HOME!!
