Home

I know I’m home when I see my giant dog Axle running to the car. Home is not just a house or a building; it is somewhere you belong and where life happens. My -almost- daily routine is playing a game called R.E.P.O. It is a horror game that I play on my PC with my brother after school upstairs in our rooms. Home is also where you feel comfortable, and it doesn’t have to be your own. For example, when I have a sleep sleepover at Jaxson L’s house I feel at home. Home is where you can be yourself, chill out, relax, and watch movies with your siblings and parents, oh and be super cozy on the couch. Home makes you comfortable or safe. Whenever I smell my grandma’s spaghetti sauce, it makes me feel excited, and when I taste it, I feel warm on the inside. Whenever I come home from a bad day, school, or a road trip and I walk over to my lizard. Squiggles makes me feel happy, calm, and grateful that I have a lizard to comfort me. When you feel emotions and you feel comfortable using those emotions you are at home. Home is where you are loved.
