There’s No Place Like Home

To me a home is not just a house, even it’s home to you or a mouse. A home is not just a place you live in with your family or all of your children. Truthfully, a home is a lot more than that. A home is where you make happy memories. It’s a place where you feel loved and secure, where kindness goes around like a gentle breeze. Some might say a home is a shelter, while others say it’s a place to sleep. People say it’s a shield from bad weather, but I would say it’s all three. Aside from that there’s so much more. Home is a place where friendships grow. It’s not about having walls and a door, but about having a place where happiness flows. Some people say it takes a child’s presence or a woman’s hand and heart, to present the house with a sense of balance, so families will not be split apart. Your home might be your house or school, whether or not your friends think it’s cool. These are the things that home means to me… home is the place where all should feel free. Before I forget, before you and I go, remember that there’s no place like home.
