What is home?

Home for me is a blanket covering me on the inside and out. A piece of me that will not leave and I will never try to make it leave. It relies on me to clean it up and make it nice and I rely on it to keep me and my family safe. And for over 10 years we have kept our promise. But when I leave my home for vacation, the blanket slowly falls off and then when I come home the blanket returns to where it was. Do you ever get that feeling where when you're gone from home for a couple of weeks and then you come back home and it's weird? Well I get that feeling and that feeling is strange for me. When my mom is cooking, my home likes the smell so it keeps it. Home is also where my life started and where it might end.
