The Meaning of Home

Cozy, warm, and safe. This is how I feel when I am home with my family. I am so lucky to have such a home, and I am going to tell you what makes it so great. My home is always neat and clean. Everywhere you sit, there are soft pillows, especially on the sofa and on my bed. Whenever I am done exercising or tired from playing outside, I love to lie down on the soft sofa with my video game. At that moment all my tiredness is gone. That is what cozy feels like to me at home. Warm is another meaning of home, especially during the winter. When the weather is freezing or the heavy snow, home is the warmest place. At night I get into my blanket and read my favorite book. That is one of my happiest moments during winter. When I am at home, the outside world feels far away, and nothing can bother me at home except my little brother. Inside my home, I feel safe and calm. If I had a difficult day at school that makes me feel sad, I wait until home and play some video games to relieve stress. No one can hurt me inside my home. Home is not just a place to live; it is where you are cozy, warm, and safe. Everyone deserves a place called home.
