What Home is to Me
After a long day of school, when I get home, I am always greeted by my parents and my dog at the front door. In the kitchen, I tell my family jokes and at the dinner table tell others about our day. In the living room, we sit together and watch tv and play board games like Monopoly and Uno and Chase the Dog. In my bedroom, that is where I sleep and play mini basketball. In the basement I play mini sticks, ping pong, and Wii sports. Outside is where I play baseball, have parties and that is where my mom’s garden is. This is also where, in the winter, I practice my shot on my rink. I make forts in the snow and have snow ball fights. My parents play curling on the rink, too. In the summer, I sit in my porch and have a freezie and when I am done, I go on my trampoline and sometimes all my friends play man hunt. That is what people like you do for Habitat for Humanity. You help everyone to have a place to call home.
