Meaning of Home

When I think of home, I think of six things. The first thing I notice when I walk into my home is the smell. My dad is always cooking dinner when I get home from school. After a long day of learning and playing with my friends, I am often hungry and feel irritable from hunger. I start off with snacks, while waiting for dinner to be ready. On Sundays and Saturdays, I wake up and see my older brother either playing on his computer or staring into his phone. I also see the dim light of the sun. Whenever I wake up on a day my mum doesn’t have work, I hear her on a call with either my little sister or one of her friends. I always hear my older brother coughing but he doesn’t have a cough. I have no idea why he is coughing all the time. When I wake up, I don’t want to wake up because the blanket is very warm. When I think of home, I think of my very very warm blanket. I love sleeping in my blanket. When I think of home, I think of these five senses in my house. The senses are sight, listening, smell, touch, and taste and my home would not be home without all of these.
